When you trace back where your food came from, you’ll find many footprints.
By the time they get on your plate, some ingredients use a lot of water, emit greenhouse gases, afflict animals, and slaughter animals.
For the energy to support you for 24 hours, how much resources are you using and causing suffering?
To choose food with thought, let’s first follow your footprint.

Send your opinions to businesses and companies!!!
When we negotiate with companies, they always say:
“We’ll change if the consumers change”
Without you knowing, businesses are always imposing responsibility for social issues on the citizens. We need to tell them that we’re already aware and want the businesses to change. Let’s tell them that it’s time for companies, shops, and businesses to change.
“Please don’t use eggs from cage rearing”
“Please don’t procure pork from farms that use sow stalls”
“Please don’t use broiler chicken”
“Please switch from cow milk to plant-based milk”
“Please use egg-free mayonnaise”
“Please change all minced meat to veggie meat”
“Please bring in veggie meat”, etc…
Here are the ways:
- Fill out “Customer opinions”
- Speak directly to shopkeepers (they don’t know, either, so please be polite!)
- Fill in contact forms on the websites of companies/businesses
- Call companies/businesses to let them know
- Comment on the social media of companies/businesses
